Picked up my dad's guitar at 10 years old and was raised on Waylon, Pink Floyd, and Steely Dan. After returning home from the military, I went to play bass for Sons of Saturn, an original, hard, psychedelic band. After breaking up, I took a long hiatus before answering an ad for a rock bassist in Open 5th where Artie Artrip was the drummer. I found my style grew from hard, psychedelic rock into the outlaw, country-roots style I play for today. While me and Artie were searching for a more southern, patriotic, and meaningful sound, we came across Donny Wagers and Steve Colonel forming the current lineup of WARREN BUTLER, America's working-class band.
